Epotykias

The epotykias are plants that look like tall and beautiful human women with green skin, hooves, large leaves as ears, colorful petals as hair and a magic horn on their forehead that can trap a spirit. They stop aging around the age of twenty and they can live indefinitely. Despite being around 230 cm tall, they are way lighter than humans and are resilient to most diseases and extreme weather as well as having a slightly superior strength than humans.

The crystal like horn on their forehead is a soul stone and is able to trap a spirit. The spirit and the epotykia's souls partially fuse and live in symbiose, sharing their will. The spirit is stabilized and recovers a physical body while the epotykia can use the elemental power of the spirit. Once a spirit enters the soul stone, the epotykia body go through a small transformation to adapt her body to her new power. A spirit can't be removed but can fuse with other spirits of the same nature to increase it's strength. At their death, their souls stay trapped in their soul stone and fuse with the spirit who previously inhabited it.

Due to the nature of spirit and their unstable state able. They are able to continue absorbing spirits that can synchronize with the ones that are already trapped in the horn, making it stronger.

Despite their humanoid appearance, they are closer to flowers as they have no gender, their skin is green and absorb light and they reproduce by pollen like the flowers. The young epotykias came from some kind of bulbs that grow on the ground that the epotykias collect and protect.
