Nanobees

Melissa, one of Neyla's chosen, is the emperess of this colonial species and has the magic ability to create eggs that gave birth to queen nanobees. Once those queens reach maturity, they will be able to generate eggs at their turn. However, the eggs of the queens give birth to workers nanobees. Workers develop a different ability, they can manipulate mater at an atomic level with great speed and precision.

With a hight under the μm value, the nanobees are one of the smallest living organism on Tarna, only the smallest bacteria and the virus are slightly smaller. They are so small that one billion of this little bees can fit in 1 mm³. To be more factual, viruses are around a tenth of their size, Red cells are almost ten times bigger than them and a small grain of sand is at least a hundred times their size. Despite their small size, those little anthropomorphic bees can fly up to 10 cm/s at full speed and they are extremly sturdy. They can speed up their perception of time up to a thousand time faster than humans.

Queens

Queens grow up to 0.75 μm in a year and develop the ability to create eggs with their power. From their eggs, workers hatch after a week. Queens commands the workers they created while following Melissa's orders. They’ll do anything to please and protect Melissa and likes her a lot. All queens have the same fixed personnality. Moreover, in rare cases, the queens can also create eggs of future queens.

Workers

Workers grow up to 0.5 μm in a month and develop the ability to manipulate matter at an atomic level to rapidly create perfect structures at a speed of 1 mm³/s. They can move relatively fast and carry up to a thousand times their weight. They have great teamwork and, despite their size, if they are numerous enough they can built a large human sized city in a few days only. Moreover, they have a strong tendency to build and expand their territory as well as collecting treasures. They’ll do anything to please and protect the queens as well as Melissa. Endless workers and simple minded, All workers have the same fixed personnality, cute, energetic and friendy, with protective instinct toward the queens and Melissa.

The Nanobee empress, Melissa, was created by Neyla to punish her for discriminating against her chosen. She was inspired by her interest in colonial insects and her disdain of small people. She ended up with the smallest size physically possible and received the power to create create her own collony. At first developping in Stella's office close to the sanctuary, they slowly expanded their territory.

Those microscopic organisms love nectar and are attracted to flowers. They can even protect farms from insects or other nuisible to protect their food source. They also loves collecting shiny things and building with clean geometrical shapes.
