Ben was married and had a son, but this last one died due to an accident and the family didn’t have enough money for the surgery and was forced to let him die. Ben drowned himself in gambling and his wife left him. After several years, Ben became a well known billionaire who manages multiple casinos and loves gambling. He uses most of his personnel earnings on caritative foundations and technological research that help the world to be a better place. He got interested in Neyla’s Order which was looking for funds and organized a meeting with its representatives. After introducing himself and learning more about the needs of the Order, its origins and goals, Ben got interested about how Neyla selects her chosens and if it’s possible for him to be one. As he said that, he got transformed immediately, with a lot of confused sentiments and mostly overjoyed and curious about his powers. He agreed to support the Order and even became its finance manager with the help of his personal team.

Ben has great sense of responsabilities, and likes money and gambling. He uses his money to help people in need.

Ben can create magic contracts that will curse the ones that break them. Additionaly, Ben possesses a deck of fifty ethereal cards linked to his soul. He can cancel and capture a magic spell into a blank card to reuse it later. When capturing a spell, the card is randomly placed into the deck. Ben can draws cards to use the captured spells but he can’t have more than five cards in hand and has to use one to free a slot. When a spell is released, the card became blank again before returning into the deck.
