Marcus is a developer who dreams of building video games. He took part in a weekly meeting with other passionate people where he met Rems. Marcus was fascinated by the passion Rems put in his project, his knowledge and his kindness. Rems always gave him precious feedback about his prototypes. He was like a role model for him. However, Rems had his project stolen from him and completely cut himself from society. The only thing Marcus still had from him was his phone number. He kept contacted him frequantly and even contacted a few psychotherapists to get advices. This is where he met Sofia. He married her and they have two children. Marcus still works toward reaching Rems and was able to join a big company working in collaboration with Meditech to create a game using their new technology: Brain-Link. Marcus, tasked to find testers, called Rems until he answered. Rems accepted to participate as a tester and Marcus will be able to meet him again. Despite things getting better, all went suddenly wrong with Rems unexpected death. Marcus suspect his conflict with Meditech to be the cause of it. While blaming himself for it and doing his best to not drawn in despear, a new strange event appened, Rems was back from the dead as his game character, Stella. Due to politics they couldn't stay together for long and it's only years later that they could reunite. Marcus continued to work as a game develope and had a peaceful life while working on his next big project using magic-technology. Since the chosens are leaving for another world and as a friend of Stella, he was chosen by Neyla to ensure his safety as well as showing world peace will come back.

Marcus is a very energetic and friendly man who talks a lot. He loves developing games and bring smile on the face of players. He likes to make friendly pranks that lighten the mood and likes to watch comedic anime. When developping games, Marcus puts more importance in the gameplay than realism.

Marcus is linked to the vrmmorpg he developped. Anyone who possesses an access to this world can log in and out as he pleases without risking their real life. While logged, a player's body will be in an artificial sleeping state while their soul is send to the game. If the device linking the body to the soul is destroyed or removed while logged, it will send the soul back to its body if there isn't any external interferance. It is rumored that players who die in reality will have their soul send to the game.

Marcus has access to the code of his virtual world and can edit it as he wishes as well as using administor's commands. Marcus can also create devices that grant access to people to join as players. He made a world based mostly on game system and with very rare realistic features. Everything as to go throught the system.
