Draconia

The dragons have existed since the oldest time and their origins are unknown. They were one of the favorite creatures for the gods to have as pets in the Age of gods. Due to their unnatural capacities, it wouldn't be surprising if they were originally created by those gods a long time ago, but nothing can prove it.

Following the disappearance of the gods, the dragons lost their masters and were free to roam the world of Lostria. Nobody could oppose them and they reached everywhere around the world with no one to face them. Moreover, the longer they live, the stronger they become. Preventing new species to take the lead against whose fortress-like creatures.

Dragons never stop growing and with the disappearance of Gods, no-one was here to control them. At some point, two dragons reached a titanic size. Those multi-millenium dragons were so huge that they could flatten mountains by stepping on them. But one issue arises, the world does not have enough resources for both of them and one has to die. They started to fight in a cataclysm-like battle. The world was totally destroyed, a catastrophe without precedent leaving nothing in their wake until one of them finally died. But the state of the world was so desolate that there were not enough resources for the winner to keep living and probably died too. Luckily, some dragons and other species survived this cataclysm and started to expand on this desolated world.

With the higher amount of mana in the air, dragons from this era develop magic capacity from an earlier age. For some centuries, the draconic continent doesn’t have enough space for the new generations and they are forced to leave to extra continental lands. A colony migrated to the north-east continent around the year 592, and two others migrated to the south-west continent, one at the year 746 in the northen jungle and one in the year 830 at the east isles.
