Vestiges of an ancient civilisation can be found at numerous places across the world of Lostria. However, almost no explanation remain about this civilisation remain. In those ruins, artefacts can be found and some of them are still in working condition. Humanity tries to collect and studie them. This old civilisation possessed a power and technology able to change reality itself and can't be reproduced with modern means. So the hunt for relics is important. The cause of this civilisation fall is unknown but marks of a cataclysmic battle can be seen accross Lostria. The few information available hint the existance of gods or similar entities.

In the depth of Lostria, an enormous amount of mana reside. That mana leaks through the ground an form crystals on the surface in a few rare area. However, following the cataclysme, the ground was shattered and numerous new mana wells appeared accross the world, increasing greatly the amount of mana in the atmosphere. Those well are well prized by humans as their main source of energy. The mana crystals slowly disolve over time in the atmosphere.
